A quote from the beautiful Marilyn Monroe to start the day and also to link into our new challenge over at The Outlawz Alcohol Markers DT . We are celebrating "National Put on your own shoes Day" - yep, it's a real thing! As bizarre as it sounds, it gives us a great theme for this week's challenge - SHOES.
So for my card I used a very cute digi from Mo's Digital Pencil called 'Diva', coloured her with copics, added the computer printed quote (did this in Adobe PSE when I was printing the image in case anyone was wondering) and added a few paper pennants from my tiddly scraps box. That's the box of ridiculously small scraps of paper that I can't bear to throw away - I know I'm not alone in this!
The small pair of shoes I cut using my Silhouette Cameo and added a couple of gems to bling them up and I finished off the card with some photo corners. She's an independent little tyke, well that's how I choose to see her so I can enter her into the current "I is for...." challenge over at Mo's Digital Challenge blog.
I would also like to enter this into the challenges at Crafty Creations , Addicted to Stamps and More , Through the Craftroom Door , Papertake Weekly and The Crafty Bloggers.
Thanks so much for popping in - please take a minute to check out the rest of the DT's work over at The Outlawz , you won't be disappointed :)
